rarr. the carnage is over. freshers' fair has taken its toll on the student body but its appetite is appeased for another year.

just spent far too long typing up the contact list of wannabee writers. there is just no fun to be had hunching over a computer for an hour. i know im whinging but honestly, if i werent so computer illiterate things would be much easier.

failed - yet again - to sign up for a spanish course, i must o yes i must (si si) sign up tomorrow or mi espanol will get even worse. and at the moment its an affront: to spain, and to us all.

the library dissappoints yet again as they appear to have lost an entire section of videos (cue slow sardonic clapping). and some bastard still hasnt returned kim. its not as if i even want to read kim, i just have to. they will pay, o yes they will. for my growing computer knowledge means i will track them down thru the system and destroy their mind! aha ha ha...

my house however is surpassing expectation. its now kitted out with 2 basket chairs from the street, a mattress left outside the mattress shop -which oddly we almost bought the day before, ha, we showed u capitalist whores - an lp player, some broken fairylights, a chopping board, a table, a desk, and a cupboard. o, and the all important box of backissues of 'vox'. from the 90s. o yeah.

the best thing seems to be the o so near but yet so damnably far possibility of sliding through the gap in the bannisters. laurenec and i have made it equidistance - we're thinking of having our hips removed to make it - for the greater good you see.

other fun things in the house is the trail of dead slugs in the hall, and that hole in the wall between the kitchgen and the lounge: far superior to a door methinks.

happiness is bizarre and sadness is sweet and i have an abundance of both.
dreams of sunrises beds and storks leave me smiling in semi-comprehension.

grilly se arrive on friday (tomorrow! ooh!) with el padre (el padre! ooh!) so that should be bueno y interesante. wonder if his padre will enjoy the novel ways to get about our house: like freerunning but kind of lamer.

check it check it.
