hello world!

last night laurence came over to our house with a bag of grass (the wonderful card game) and we played that some more. two games, one of which i played in and won! grilly lost both times, he's not very good at it. then grilly, luarenec and i played the "ask the other two a question and they have to say what they think the other person would say" game. this is not a card game and you have to keep points scored in your head, but we forgot to do that. in fact, we frequently forgot to answer for the other person, which was funnny. then laur went home and grilly made me tuck him in to bed, and insisted that i tucked him in very tight in deed. we laughed over it, and i went and got into my bed, and we both cried ourselves to sleep.

tonght is my freind rachels birthday party, and the night after is my birthday party! we have so many friends, we couldn't possibly combine the two into one event. thinking back, we probably should have booked a club, but on the weekend that would have been very expensive. in fact, that would mean we'd have it on one person's anniversary and not the other, and that's a bad idea. actually, a two nighter is probably for the best, then you get to parties for the price of two instead of one for two. hrmph.
